Rooted in the traditions of the Peruvian Andes, my work blends contemporary rug hooking with my ancestors in mind. I handcraft each piece with hand spun, naturally dyed with plants and minerals sheep wool, some synthetic, as well as icelandic wool. All celebrating el espiritu Andino known as the Apus; mountains, duality, nature and rememberance.
